Brazil's Petrobras mulls sale of 60 percent stake in refining blocks | Reuters 2 Min Read SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Brazil’s state-controlled oil company Petroleo Brasileiro SA is considering a proposal to divide its refining assets in two regional blocks and sell 60 percent stakes in them, the company said in a securities filing on Thursday. Petrobras, as the company is known, will present its suggestions for the partnership model to the refineries at an event Thursday in Rio de Janeiro. The company is considering including two refineries and logistic assets in each regional block, one in the Northeast and one in the Southern region of the country, according to its planned presentation. The northeastern block would have refineries in the states of Pernambuco and Bahia, and the southern block, two units in the states of ParanAA and Rio Grande do Sul.
