Brazil prosecutors allege the Glencore ( OTCPK:GLCNF , OTCPK:GLNCY ), Trafigura and Vitol trading houses paid more than $30M in bribes to Petrobras (NYSE: PBR ) employees in return for business, the latest finding of the country’s sweeping “Car Wash” investigation. Prosecutors say the PBR employees offered the trading companies cheaper prices for oil and its derivatives, then pocketed the savings. Employees involved worked at PBR's trading desk in Houston and at the company’s headquarters in Rio de Janeiro, and there is evidence that at least two of the employees still work at the company, the investigators say.
