Summary One of the side effects of investing in small- and micro-cap stocks is that it's not always easy to understand what is driving short-term price movements. When it comes to PFSWeb ( PFSW ), I'll admit to being a bit flummoxed at the moment. From my perspective, PFSW has had a solid first half, including Q2 results earlier this month. At least for a moment, I wasn't alone in that opinion; PFSW gained a bit over 4% the day after the Q2 release. Since that day, however, the stock has fallen about 15%, and is ~25% below early June peaks even discounting a couple of stray trades: source: finviz.com I'm not sure why that it is. 2018 looked like a critical year for the stock , as I wrote back in March, as it would help determine whether an uneven 2016 was a sign of a change in trend or just a result of execution errors to which management quickly admitted.
