5 Cheap Steel And Iron Stocks: Below Book, Making Money, Paying Dividends Getty When I screen for stocks selling below book value, earning money and paying dividends, I'm not finding that many stocks these days -- except in one industry: steel and iron. Of the meager 26 stocks that show up this week using the "value stock" criteria, 5 of them are in that one industry.
