Children's Place shares sink after two executive departures announced Children's Place Inc. PLCE, -11.16% shares sank nearly 9% in Monday premarket trading after the company announced that two of its executives, Pamela Wallack and Anurup Pruthi, have left the company after a streamlining effort to increase management efficiencies. Chief Executive Jane Elfers will resume direct responsibility for product, she said in a statement. Wallack was appointed president of global product in May 2017. It was a newly-created role. And Mike Scarpa will become chief financial officer in addition to holding on to his chief operating officer title. Pruthi was appointed CFO December 2014. Children's Place also reaffirmed its third-quarter guidance for earnings per share in the range of $2.97 to $3.07. The retailer experienced positive high-single-digit comp growth each month of the quarter, according to a statement from Elfers.
