THE COLONY, Texas, Aug. 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quest Resource Holding Corporation (NASDAQ: QRHC) ("Quest"), a national leader in environmental reuse, recycling, and disposal services, today announced financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2018. Second Quarter 2018 Highlights Revenue was $27.9 million compared with $41.4 million for the second quarter of 2017 and increased 13% sequentially from $24.7 million for the first quarter of 2018.Gross profit was $4.4 million, flat in comparison with the second quarter of 2017, and increased 25% sequentially from $3.5 million for the first quarter of 2018.Gross margin percentage was 15.9% of revenue, compared with 10.8% for the second quarter of 2017, an increase of 5.1 percentage points.Operating expenses were $4.9 million, a decrease of $717,000, or 13%, compared with the second quarter of 2017.Net loss was $539,000, a $712,000 improvement compared with the net loss for the second quarter of 2017 and a $774,000 impr
