ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 14, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- REGENXBIO Inc. (Nasdaq: RGNX), a leading clinical-stage biotechnology company seeking to improve lives through the curative potential of gene therapy based on its proprietary NAV® Technology Platform, today announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 2,700,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $65.00 per share, as well as the exercise in full of the underwriters' option to purchase 405,000 additional shares at the public offering price. Including the option exercise, the total gross proceeds to REGENXBIO are expected to be approximately $201.8 million, before deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses.
