Company Expands to Myrtle Beach Metro AreaDOTHAN, Ala., Aug. 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Construction Partners, Inc. (NASDAQ: ROAD) (the "Company"), a vertically integrated civil infrastructure company specializing in the construction and maintenance of roadways across five southeastern states, today announced that it has acquired Southern Asphalt, Inc., headquartered in Conway, South Carolina. As a result of the acquisition, the Company added two hot-mix asphalt plants and more than 200 employees in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina metro area. Fred J. (Jule) Smith, III, the Company's President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "We are pleased to extend our footprint into eastern South Carolina with today's transaction.
