RQI: A Top Real Estate Fund For Income Investors Summary Real estate is a popular vehicle to use to generate income due to a variety of characteristics, including high yields. RQI is one of the better CEFs available for investors seeking exposure to real estate. The fund is quite well diversified across the United States and has very little exposure to the sometimes-volatile real estate sector. The fund boasts a 7.6% yield, which is better than you can get off of individual REITs. The fund is currently trading at a very nice discount to net asset value. As some of my long-time readers know, I have a fondness for real estate as it is an excellent vehicle to both preserve your wealth and generate income. It definitely seems that I am not alone in this as real estate investment trusts often prove to be a very popular topic at Seeking Alpha.
