Scynexis: Updates To Thesis, Expecting Rebound In The Near Term Summary Shares have risen by 25% since my January update piece. I provide a recap of the bullish thesis and certain recent events. Data and case studies from phase 3 open-label studies (FURI and CARES) continue to be encouraging. Management continues to guide for NDA submission in 2020. There has been some mild insider buying. The stock is a Buy. Risks include additional dilution (warrant overhang) and disappointing data readouts. Shares of SCYNEXIS ( SCYX The company originally caught my attention due to the fact that its lead candidate is targeting a combined $1 billion opportunity in the United States alone, contrasting very favorably to the current valuation.
