NEW YORK, Jan. 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Stemline Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:STML), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel oncology therapeutics, today announced the closing of a previously announced underwritten public offering of 4,255,000 shares of its common stock, which included the exercise in full of the option to purchase 555,000 additional shares, at a price of $14.00 per share. The gross proceeds to Stemline from the offering, including the exercise of the option to purchase additional shares, were $59,570,000, before deducting underwriting discounts, commissions and other offering expenses payable by Stemline. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Cowen and Company, LLC served as joint book-running managers for the offering. Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. Inc. and H.C. Wainwright & Co. served as co-lead managers and Roth Capital Partners, Joseph Gunnar & Co., LLC, National Securities Corporation and Aegis Capital Corp. served as co-managers for the offering.
