Owning a home might be the American dream, but Kevin O'Leary thinks too many people are rushing into a nightmare. In a Facebook post shared alongside his Fox Business interview in November, the "Shark Tank" investor gave blunt advice to young adults debating whether to rent or buy. When asked outright which path to take, O'Leary didn't hesitate: "Rent." His reasoning? "Start by renting until you start a family and keep it small, 1,500 feet or less if you've got the average salary of $70,000 annually," he wrote.
