Analog Devices stock falls after earnings slip Analog Devices Inc. shares ADI, -2.61% are down 3.5% in premarket trading Tuesday after the company saw earnings and revenue slip in its October quarter. The company reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of $266.7 million, or 74 cents a share, down from $404.9 million, or $1.08 a share, in the year-earlier period. Adjusted earnings per share fell to $1.19 from $1.48. Analog Devices posted revenue of $1.44 billion, down from $1.54 billion a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by FactSet were expecting $1.45 billion. For the fiscal first quarter, Analog Devices expects revenue of $1.25 billion to $1.35 billion and adjusted earnings per share of 93 cents to $1.07. The stock has gained 32% so far this year, as the S&P 500 SPX, +0.00% has risen 25%.
