For years, I have argued that Apple mainly makes high-end laptops, whereas other brands typically serve the mid to low-end segments. Apple laptops dominate the premium PC market. While Apple offers discounts for students, the choice is often Apple's more powerful laptops and desktops over competitors' offerings when budgets allow for those creative professionals, scientists, engineers, and businesses. For decades, Apple avoided the lower end of the market, choosing to serve those who demanded more powerful PCs. The MacBook Neo changes that.
