I am deeply hooked into the Apple ecosystem, only to realize Apple is lagging its competitors big time when it comes to AI. The latest setback for Apple comes with the launch of the MacBook app for Perplexity Computer on April 16. Apple has had ambitious plans for Siri of late, but none of this has come to fruition so far.
