Dive Brief: Broadcom is partnering with Meta to produce the industry's first 2-nanometer artificial intelligence compute accelerator in a deal set to last through 2029. The partnership is built on Broadcom's XPU platform “to deeply co-develop and optimize Meta's AI infrastructure across multiple silicon generations,” Broadcom said in a press release. The deployment will also utilize Broadcom's advanced Ethernet technologies, the company said. The purpose of the deal is to help meet Meta's escalating compute demands for next-generation AI models.
