Costco was one of more than 1,000 businesses that challenged the tariffs in court. The companies argued that Trump did not have the legal authority to impose them under the 1977 International Emergency Economic Powers Act. Speaking during a post-earnings call, CEO Ron Vachris said it is still unclear if or when companies will receive refunds for tariffs paid last year under the IEEPA.
