CoreWeave, which is backed by Nvidia ( NASDAQ: NVDA ), operates 14 data centers scattered across the US to power GPU-accelerated workloads at an enterprise scale. The latest round of funding was led by Coatue and assisted by Magnetar, Altimeter Capital, Fidelity Management and Research Company, and Lykos Global Management. "We believe CoreWeave has emerged as a key leader in building the mission-critical infrastructure foundation required to satisfy society's current and future demand for high performance compute at scale to power the generative AI revolution," said Philippe Laffont, founder and portfolio manager of Coatue.
