Nvidia ( NASDAQ:NVDA ) shares edged higher after an artificial-intelligence startup outlined plans to build a data center equipped with the chip maker's processors. French AI company Mistral AI said it raised $830 million through its first debt-financing round, with a consortium of banks providing the funds. While Nvidia does not disclose individual chip pricing, analysts estimate that a rack containing 72 of the GPUs carries a price tag of roughly $3 million. Based on that figure, the new facility could involve around $575 million worth of Nvidia hardware. Nvidia shares rose 1% in premarket trading. The stock is down 10% so far this year.
