AI “hyperscalers” have announced plans to ramp up capital spending to build out data centers and other infrastructure, which often utilize Nvidia's equipment, setting the stage for the company to deliver ?strong results, said Marta Norton, chief investment strategist at retirement and wealth services provider Empower. “The ?expectation for outsized results for Nvidia has been a persistent theme over the past few years,” Norton said. “And so it's hard for Nvidia to surprise when everyone expects it to surprise.” The benchmark S&P 500 was last up a modest 0.2 per cent for the year. But there have been significant gyrations below the surface.
