Tesla announced their plan to end Model S and Model X production, shifting focus to Optimus robot factory. The Silicon Valley automaker says in a that a new All-Wheel Drive version of the Model Y, which is Tesla's top-selling model, is available for a starting price of $41,990. The company said the All-Wheel Drive Model Y has an estimated battery range of 294 miles, and it is capable of going from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. Tesla describes the All-Wheel Drive Model Y as being the "most affordable" version of its popular electric SUV. It also has "more traction" than other trims of the vehicle. The new Model Y trim comes as Tesla CEO has confirmed plans to in the spring in favor of plans to build robots. How much do other Tesla Model Y trims cost? Tesla sells five versions of the Model Y electric SUV. The lowest trim is the Rear-Wheel Drive, which starts at $39,990.
