Starbucks recently announced an impending move to Nashville , joining fellow Fortune 500 companies Oracle, Amazon, Tractor Supply Co. and Dollar General, among others in Davidson County. In the Mar. 3 announcement, neither Starbucks executives nor Tennessee officials disclosed a timeline for the opening of the planned southeastern corporate office, the specific location, or any estimates to how many jobs the office will generate. Why Starbucks is moving southeast HQ to Middle Tennessee Starbucks is introducing a redesigned ceramic mug to encourage people to stay awhile. While Starbucks did not divulge any economic or employment projections for its Nashville office plans, Chief Operating Officer Mike Grams said Nashville is an "ideal location" allowing the company to expand their southeastern presence.
