BlackRock ( BLK ) CEO Larry Fink warned on Monday that while most wealth has gone to asset owners, AI could worsen wealth inequality unless more people share in market growth. “The old model of global capitalism is fracturing,” wrote Fink in the asset management giant's annual chairman letter to investors. He highlighted that while countries are spending enormous sums to become self-reliant in energy, defense, and technology, "the vast majority of wealth has flowed to people who owned assets, not to people who earned most of their money by working."
