Some say everything's bigger in Texas, a sentiment that also rings true for Buc-ee's Days after rumors circulated that a new Buc-ee's location in St. Lucie, Florida, slated to open in September 2027, would be the its "largest" convenience store and gas station to date, the Lake Jackson, Texas-based company decided to set the record straight. "Contrary to recent reporting that the proposed project in St. Lucie, FL will be our largest store, Luling Texas is, and will remain, the largest Buc-ee's Travel Center in our fleet! " Stan Beard, director of real estate for Buc-ee's, said in a Jan. 20 statement.
