The changes will expand its assortment of healthy foods, affordable on-trend items and enhance the in-store and online experience, according to a news release. The renovation will include upgrading layouts, technology and delivery in “as little as an hour for most customers,” according to a news release. Walmart says it has invested more than $82 million in New Hampshire over the past five years to upgrade its stores. The company announced similar investments across the nation. “By modernizing our stores, we're making shopping faster, easier, and more convenient, all while empowering our teams to serve customers better and creating local opportunity,” Annie Walker, senior vice president for the east business unit at Walmart, said in a statement. Some of the changes might include wider aisles, modern signage, new digital touchpoints, improved parking and landscaping.
