The price change will go into effect on May 1, 2026. “We have adjusted our membership pricing to support the things our members love,” Sam's Club told USA TODAY. The grocery warehouse sent out the news to customers via email. Members took to social media to discuss the changes. If members renew early, they're able to get another year at the current price, commentors noted on Reddit. "I paid ahead too before the price increases," one user wrote. How much will a Sam's Club membership cost now? According to Sam's Club, the price increases will affect both its Club membership and its Club Plus membership. The price for a Club membership will go from $50 to $60 a year , while the Plus membership rate will go from $110 to $120 a year . Additionally, Plus members will also be able to earn up to $750 a year in Sam's Cash rewards. Previously, the yearly cashback cap for Plus rewards members was $500.
