DUBLIN, Ireland, Feb. 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc (Nasdaq:AVDL) (“Avadel” or “the Company”) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Avadel Finance Cayman Limited (the “Issuer”), priced its previously announced offering of $125,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 4.50% exchangeable senior notes due 2023 (the “Notes”) in a private placement (the “Offering”) to qualified institutional buyers pursuant to Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”). In connection with the Offering, the Issuer granted the initial purchasers of the Notes a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional $18,750,000 aggregate principal amount of the Notes. The sale of the Notes is expected to close on February 16, 2018, subject to customary closing conditions. Avadel estimates that the net proceeds from this Offering will be approximately $119.6 million, or $137.7 million, if the initial purchasers exercise their option to purchase ad
