Beer sales in the U.S. have improved over the last 12 weeks, updates Susquehanna analyst Pablo Zuanic. IRI scanner data indicates that volume rose 1% during the 4-week period ending November 20 to mark the fastest pace of growth seen since November. Volume fell 0.1% in Q3 and was up 0.7% in Q2. Zuanic says trends improved for Anheuser-Busch InBev (NYSE: BUD ) and MillerCoors (NYSE: TAP ), but volumes remained down mid-single digits for Boston Beer (NYSE: SAM ).
