NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 11/12/14 -- CBD Energy Limited (NASDAQ: CBDE) ("CBD") announced today in a filing with the SEC on Form 6-K that the Company received a notice of failure to meet a NASDAQ listing standard related to its failure to timely file its annual report on Form 20-F. This announcement is being made as required under NASDAQ Listing Rule 5801(b). CBD is delinquent in filing its annual report on Form 20-F due to the pending investigation of accounting matters disclosed in a Form 6-K filed by CBD on October 24, 2014. The NASDAQ Notice requires CBD to submit, prior to December 5, 2014, a plan to regain compliance with NASDAQ Listing Rule 5250(c)(1) requiring timely filing of periodic financial reports with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ("Commission").
