YONKERS, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 07/20/17 -- ContraFect Corporation (NASDAQ: CFRX), a biotechnology company focused on the discovery and development of protein and antibody therapeutics for life-threatening, drug-resistant infectious diseases, today announced the pricing of its underwritten public offering of 32,000,000 shares of its common stock and related warrants to purchase 16,000,000 shares of common stock with an exercise price of $1.55 per share at a combined public offering price of $1.25 per share and related warrant. All shares and warrants in the offering are to be sold by ContraFect. The gross proceeds from the offering will be $40.0 million. The offering is expected to close on or about July 25, 2017, subject to customary closing conditions. Piper Jaffray & Co. is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering.
