HONG KONG – World shares rallied on Thursday, mirroring Wall Street's advance as investors' worries over inflation receded, although trading was thin in Asia, where some markets closed for Lunar New Year holidays. Britain's FTSE 100 rose 0.6 percent to 7,256.72. Wall Street was poised to open higher as Dow futures added 0.8 percent to 25,051.00 and broader S&P 500 futures advanced 0.6 percent to 2,713.60. INFLATION: A report showed U.S. consumer prices climbed at a slightly faster pace than economists expected in January while a separate report on retail sales showed they were unchanged in December and slipped last month.
