Eros dips as revenue growth falls short of expectationsEros International (NYSE:EROS)declined 1.3% today after itsfiscal Q3 report featured a revenue miss in the wake of news that Reliance Industries Limited has taken a stake.Through a subsidiary, Reliance has taken a 5% equity stake at $15/share (Eros closed on NYSE today at $13.12).Revenue grew by double digits to $65.2M but fell slightly short of consensus; operating profit was $16.5MEBITDA of $23.6M resulted in a margin of 36.2%.The company reiterated guidance for subscribers to its streaming service, Eros Now, of 6-8M paying subs by march 31, and doubling that base by the end of fiscal 2019.Cash on the balance sheet came to $134.6M as of Dec. 31.Call transcriptPress releaseClick to subscribe to real-time analytics on EROSNow read:Regal Entertainment: You Can Get Higher Returns Elsewhere »
