ELMIRA, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Hardinge Inc. (NASDAQ:HDNG), a leading international provider of advanced metal-cutting solutions and accessories, today announced that its board of directors has appointed B. Christopher DiSantis as Chairman of the Board effective August 25, 2017. Mitchell I. Quain, who has served as Lead Independent Director for the past nine months, will remain on the board serving as Chairman of the nominating and governance committee and as a member of the compensation committee.
