CARMEL, Ind., May 22, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- KAR Auction Services, Inc. (NYSE:KAR) (the “Company”) announced today that it plans to offer, subject to market conditions, approximately $800 million aggregate principal amount of senior notes due 2025 (the “notes”). The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the notes offering to repay a portion of the existing term loans outstanding under its senior secured credit facilities and for general corporate purposes. In connection with the notes offering, the Company plans to reprice the remainder of the term loans that are not repaid and increase the revolving commitments under its senior secured credit facilities from $300 million to $350 million. The notes have not been and will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Securities Act”), any state securities laws or the securities laws of any other jurisdiction, and may not be offered or sold in the United States absent registration or an applicabl
