When clicked on, the "Ride there with Uber" button takes users from a retailer's mobile location page to the Uber app, where their destination is already preloaded. This could significantly drive up in-store foot traffic and incremental spending for participating retailers. Meanwhile, the omnichannel tool is part of Uber's overall push into retail, and as it continues to blend the online and offline shopping experience, we expect more retailers to sign on to its various offerings.
