The perks for those who spend a lot at the department store will be upgraded, but will it really help the chain compete? In this Market Foolery podcast segment, host Chris Hill and Motley Fool Asset Management 's Bill Barker assess the potential of Macy's   ( NYSE:M ) soon-to-debut new rewards program. The top-spending 10% of its customers -- who contribute about half of its sales -- will get 5% back, plus free shipping, among other things.
