NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Levi & Korsinsky, LLP has filed a class action lawsuit in the United States District Court for District of Minnesota on behalf of current stockholders of MOCON, Inc. (NASDAQGM:MOCO) in connection with the planned acquisition of the company by AMETEK, Inc. On April 17, 2017, MOCON announced it had entered into an agreement in which AMETEK, Inc. (“AMETEK”) would acquire all outstanding shares of MOCON common stock for $30.00 per share. The lawsuit, entitled Ellebracht v. MOCON, Inc., et al. (Case No. 0:17-cv-01662), alleges that defendants solicit stockholder votes in connection with the sale of the Company to AMETEK through a proxy statement that omits material facts necessary to make the statements therein not false or misleading.
