GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- National Storage Affiliates Trust (the "Company") (NYSE: NSA) today announced that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 4,500,000 common shares of beneficial interest of the Company. The Company expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 675,000 common shares. The Company intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay amounts outstanding under its revolving line of credit and for general corporate purposes. Jefferies and Morgan Stanley will act as joint book-running managers for the offering. The underwriters propose to offer the shares from time to time in negotiated transactions or otherwise at market prices prevailing at the time of sale, at prices related to prevailing market prices or at negotiated prices.
