NORTH VENICE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- PGT® Custom Windows + Doors, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PGT Innovations (NYSE: PGTI) and the nation’s leading manufacturer of impact-resistant windows and doors, was awarded a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on April 4, 2017. The new patent US9611688 covers the company’s secure corner assembly for high-strength windows.
