Stitch Fix: Buy The DipSummaryStitch Fix, the online apparel subscription company that went public last month, stumbled in its first earnings release since its IPO.The headline numbers, revenue and EPS, both beat consensus, but a contraction in margins scared investors.The company is attributing lower margins to new offerings in Men's and Plus Size categories.Like Q1 actuals in the quarter, Stitch Fix's guidance also offered revenue upside, but disappointed on adjusted EBITDA, pointing to continued margin pressures.All told, however, Stitch Fix remains a fantastic company and innovative concept, and shares look cheap at ~1.7x FY18 expected revenues.
