Stitch Fix closes at record high, following disappointing IPO After a disappointing initial public offering last week, Stitch Fix Inc. SFIX, +9.81% closed at a record high Wednesday. Investors fueled gains ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday and sent the online clothing retailer's shares up 9.8% to $17.35. The stock closed at $15.15 its first day trading Nov. 17, just above the $15 that it debuted at. The stock reached its intraday record of $18.53 Nov. 17. Despite the lackluster IPO, several analysts MarketWatch spoke with last week said that the underlying business is quite interesting. The S&P 500 index SPX, -0.08% has gained 16% this year.
