MOORESTOWN, N.J., Jan. 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tabula Rasa HealthCare, Inc. (“TRHC”) (NASDAQ:TRHC), a healthcare technology company optimizing medication safety by deploying new medication risk mitigation digital software solutions and novel, proprietary medication decision support tools, announced today that its Enhanced MTM offerings have been expanded in Medicare Part D Region 25 to address the pervasive challenge of opioid prescribing. This new scope of work, which began during fourth quarter 2017, relates to engaging and educating physicians about the dangers of prescribing opioids to patients who simultaneously are taking other medications that may interfere with how the body processes these drug combinations. Multi-drug interactions relating to opioids can give rise to serious adverse drug events – even death.
