FDA tentatively OKs Perrigo's generic OnextonThe FDAtentatively approves Perrigo's (PRGO-0.2%) generic version of Valeant Pharmaceuticals (VRX-1.8%) unit Ortho Dermatologics' ONEXTON Gel (clindamycin phosphate 1.2% and benzoyl peroxide 3.75%) for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients at least 12 years old.Tentative approval means that the marketing application met the standards for approval but patent issues need to be resolved, although the company says it settled patent litigation with Valeant and Dow Pharmaceutical Sciences.Click to subscribe to real-time analytics on PRGONow read:Valeant: I Was Serious - The Clock Is Ticking »
