As of 2:45 p.m. EDT, the Israel-focused driller's stock was down more than 15% on some profit taking, though it's still up more than 200% for the year. So what Zion Oil & Gas stock started taking off in earnest in June, when it began drilling the Megiddo-Jezreel 1 Well, which is a deep, onshore well located in Israel's Jezreel Valley.
