Thinly traded nano cap Zosano Pharma (NASDAQ: ZSAN ) is up premarket on robust volume in response to its announcement of successful results from a Phase 3 clinical trial, ZOTRIP , assessing lead product candidate M207 for the treatment of migraine. The study met both co-primary endpoints of pain freedom and most bothersome symptom freedom at hour 2. M207 is a zolmitriptan-coated microneedle patch is that is designed to rapidly deliver zolmitriptan during a migraine attack. Zolmitriptan was marketed as a branded medicine by AstraZeneca before coming off patent several years ago.
