VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 07, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Silvercorp Metals Inc. (“Silvercorp” or the “Company”) (TSX: SVM) (NYSE American: SVM) reported its financial and operating results for the second quarter ended September 30, 2018 (“Q2 Fiscal 2019”). All amounts are expressed in US Dollars. Q2 FISCAL YEAR 2019 HIGHLIGHTS Sales of $48.1 million, up 1% compared to $47.5 million in the prior year quarter;Sold approximately 1.9 million ounces of silver, 1,000 ounces of gold, and 19.4 million pounds of lead, up by 17%, 25%, and 15%, respectively, compared to 1.6 million ounces of silver, 800 ounces of gold, 16.9 million pounds of lead in the prior year quarter while zinc sold was 4.9 million pounds, down 12% compared to 5.6 million pounds in the prior year quarter.
