It' just that now he's a little closer to being one of 25 Dodgers than he was before. Which isn't to say he isn't a team player. Not at all. It's just that now, in his 11th season in Los Angeles, he doesn't have to be the center of his team's universe. All that matters is 11 postseason wins, no matter how you get them. Clayton Kershaw. There are other reasons, some of them rather obvious -- like, Kershaw can opt of his contract in November and exit as a free agent -- and I'll attempt to detail them here.
