BYD Auto (OTCPK: OTCPK:BYDDF ) is best known as the world's largest EV (electric vehicle) manufacturer. Its stock price tends to rise and fall based on its domestic auto sales in China. BYD is probably the most integrated new energy company in the world. This means investors should not be fixated on short-term fluctuations in auto sales in one market. Their e-bus business is booming. As I detailed in an article in October , BYD has a target for a tenfold increase in revenue from 2017 to 2025. If achieved they would hit US$150 billion by that date. Add-on opportunities from the e-bus business into autos and energy storage could be pivotal to the company's long-term expansion.
