OKLAHOMA CITY, Oct. 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mammoth Energy Services, Inc. (“Mammoth”) (NASDAQ:TUSK) today announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Cobra Energy LLC (“Cobra”), responded to the call for mutual aid from utilities affected by Hurricane Michael on the Gulf coast of the United States. Hurricane Michael came ashore as a major category 4 storm with sustained winds of up to 150 MPH causing significant damage. As a fast moving storm with high winds traversing heavily wooded areas of the Florida panhandle and southern Georgia, FEMA and state governments are expecting significant damage to the power grid in the affected areas. Cobra has deployed crews and associated equipment to help ensure the safety and welfare of the people affected by the storm and to aid in the restoration of the power grid.
