Under Armour: Poised For Underperformance?SummaryUnder Armour underperformed in 2017 relative to its original expectations. They have high expectations for 2018 that will be difficult to meet given their financial situation.UAA expects improved margins in 2018. However, given the excess inventory they are holding, the low obsolescence reserve, and their changing sales mix, it seems unlikely margins can improve.UAA expects single-digit revenue growth in 2018. However, with less discounting, a planned reduction in SKUs and decreasing sales per store, this appears to be a stretch goal.
